Senate Subcommittee and Space Industry Leaders Stress Need for Longer FAA “Learning Period”

On Wednesday, Space industry figures from SpaceX, Blue Origin, and Virgin Galactic reiterated calls for an extension to the “learning period” regarding the development of safety regulations for human space travel on Wednesday, to the generally-sympathetic Senate Subcommittee on Space and Science. The meeting was chaired by Arizona’s formerly Democratic and now Independent Senator, Kyrsten Sinema.
