FAA Extends Safety Regulations “Learning Period” for Commercial Human Spaceflight

The continuing resolution (CR) that kept the US federal government from shutting down on October 2nd also contains a provision directly relevant to spaceflight: another extension on the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) “learning period” regarding safety regulations on commercial human spaceflight.
