NASA astronaut Jeffrey Williams, Expedition 22 commander, performs in-flight maintenance (IFM) on the Carbon Dioxide Removal Assembly (CDRA) in the Kibo laboratory of the International Space Station. CDRA is a part of the ISS Environmental Control and Life Support (ECLS) system. The CDRA provides carbon dioxide removal from the ISS. The CDRA is the secondary removal system on the ISS. The primary system is the Russian Vozdukh unit. The CDRA contains two Desiccant/Adsorbent Beds that remove carbon dioxide. high res (1.6 M) low res (123 K)
