When it is solicited, B.2 Heliophysics Supporting Research (HSR) seeks science investigations that must include an element of a) theory, numerical simulation, or modeling, and an element of b) data analysis and interpretation of current or historical NASA-spacecraft observations, while address the Heliophysics overarching goal or a specific objective.

To maintain a high selection rate in HPD R&A Programs, HSR is no longer solicited in ROSES-2022. Instead, it will be solicited in ROSES 2023 with a due date in May of 2023. This proposal deadline is three months later than the HSR-22 due date, minimizing the impact on the Heliophysics community. HSR-23 will employ Dual-Anonymous Peer Review, so this delay will give the community additional time to prepare for the new proposal format.

On or about July 22, 2022, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2022” (NNH22ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2022 and will appear on SARA’s ROSES blog at: https://science.nasa.gov/researchers/sara/grant-solicitations/roses-2022/
