Now available is the June 10, 2015 NASA Future In-Space Operations (FISO) telecon material. The speaker was Doug Craig (NASA HQ HEOMD) who discussed “An Overview of NASA’s Evolvable Mars Campaign”.
Douglas Craig received his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical & Ocean Engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic institute and State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology. Mr. Craig began his career working for the Air Force at Wright-­Patterson AFB as a systems engineer for the Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF) program. He then joined NASA and has worked in various NASA program offices at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Langley Research Center and Headquarters. Mr. Craig is currently the Manager of Strategic Analyses for the Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate’s Advanced Exploration Systems (AES) Division at NASA Headquarters. His responsibilities include leading the human exploration architecture studies, co‐leading the System Maturation Teams capability and technology roadmap development; modeling and simulation for architecture analysis; leading the AES crew mobility domain, overseeing the habitation contracts in the NextSTEP broad agency announcement activity as the contract officer representative; and leading the creation of associated partnerships.
