August 7, 2008 / Written by: Jason Feldman: Almost all the AMASE team with their boxes of instruments and gear and tools and such assembled in Longyearbyen in a big conference room at the Radisson and unpacked equipment and started assembling the instruments and running tests. We all worked very hard in Longyearbyen – making sure everything was in place and taking care of last minute technical and logistical crises trying to get everything up and running and ready for the field.
