Climbers Begin Nightime Departure From Everest Base Camp

Keith Cowing: I shot this night vision video on 8 May at 4:30 am as a group of IMG climbers began their summit attempt of Mt. Everest. On their way out of base camp they all stopped at the IMG Puja, a Buddhist altar, where everyone left something, said a prayer, or asked for a blessing for what they were about to attempt.
