NASA’s Mars Atmosphere and Volatiles Evolution (MAVEN) spacecraft was taken out of its shipping container and moved into a Kennedy Space Center clean room on Aug. 3, 2013.
The spacecraft was delivered by Lockheed Martin the previous day from Denver, Colo. The orbiter will undergo final processing in this clean room prior to its mid-November launch.
