ROSCOSMOS Proton-M Launch of Turksat 4B

At 11:40 pm Moscow time on October 16 the carrier rocket “Proton-M” was successfully launched from the launch pad complex Baikonur cosmodrome ?200 together with the spacecraft Turksat 4B.
Turksat 4B is the second telecommunications spacecraft built by MELCO, a leading Japanese satellite manufacturer, for Turkey’s satellite operator Turksat Satellite Communication. The two satellites will enable Turksat AS to offer telecommunication and direct TV broadcasting services throughout Turkey, as well as in Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
