NASA Space Shuttle Processing Status Report 30 June 2006

“U.S. Air Force weather officers are forecasting a 60-percent chance of weather prohibiting a launch attempt on Saturday.”


Editor’s update: The launch has been scrubbed for today. NASA will try again tomorrow at 3:26 pm eastern.

Editor’s note: The weather has improved and is now estimated to present only a 40% chance of prohibiting a launch attempt.

“8:30 a.m. Status Update NASA launch managers are currently working an issue with the thruster heater in the left orbital maneuvering system pod and believe there is plenty of time to work the issue.”
