South Korea and India Sign Science and Technology Cooperation Deal

According to Telecons Korea, the South Korean and India have agreed on a science and technology program aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation.

As part of the agreement the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) and the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) signed a memorandum of understanding to further seek ways for the peaceful use of space. The agreement includes future cooperation in space communication, ways to enhance capabilities of remote control probes and promote growth of space-related sciences.

The agreement comes one day after ISRO successfully conducted the static test of its largest solid rocket booster, S200. This makes it the 3rd largest solid rocket booster in the world, next to the solid rocket booster of Space Shuttle and P230 booster of ARIANE-5.
