NASA Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity Makes Short Trip Into Victoria Crater

According to NASA sources the Opportunity Mars rover successfully drove in and then out of Victoria Crater.
This short trip was accomplished on on Sol 1291.
Photos taken by the rover show that it made a 4 meter drive down into Victoria – and then backed out.
