Yuri’s Night in Strasbourg

Explore Mars is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Yuri’s Night, the annual worldwide party celebrating the anniversary of Yuri’s Gagarin’s historic flight into space on April 12. As part of the International Space Station and Mars Conference in Strasbourg, there will be a special reception celebrating the 50th anniversary of Gagarin’s flight.

“I am really excited by this partnership and this event in Strasbourg,” stated Explore Mars Executive Director, Chris Carberry. “It will not only bring Yuri’s Night to the home city of the European Parliament, but will also show Mars exploration could be the next major international partnership in space exploration.”

Details of this celebration will be released soon, but it will feature key figures from the space community from around the world.

According to Yuri’s Night Executive Director, Ryan Kobrick, “Yuri’s Night is excited to partner with Explore Mars! Our future is on the Red planet and it begins by inspiring people right here on Earth.”
