Background information on the transmission:
On 6 July 2006, German ESA astronaut Thomas Reiter joined the permanent ISS Expedition 13 Crew.
ESA-TV provides weekly ISS-Astrolab Highlights featuring the best images received during the past seven days.
This week’s highlights will cover inter alia the following:
– Answers (in German) to questions by RTL anchor Peter Klöppel at an interview broadcast by RTL on 29 August. These images can now be used by all broadcasters
– Jeff Williams working with the Capillary Flow Experiment in the Destiny Laboratory
– Thomas Reiter in the Destiny Lab performing leak checks on the Microgravity Science Glovebox
– Images of the Expedition 14 Crew preparing for its launch on 18 September. Michael Lopez-Alegria and Mikhail Tyurin will join Reiter on the ISS two days later
