Background information on the transmission:
On 6 July 2006, German ESA astronaut Thomas Reiter joined the permanent ISS Expedition 13 Crew.
ESA-TV provides weekly ISS-Astrolab Highlights featuring the best images received during the past seven days.
This week’s highlights will cover inter alia the following:
– The In-flight call (in German) of Reiter with German broadcaster Phoenix on 27 October 2006. These images may now be used by all broadcasters
– New NASA computer animations released 6 November illustrating the operations at the upcoming STS-116 Shuttle mission to the ISS
– General views of Reiter in the ISS, including him giving a haircut to fellow astronaut Tyurin.
