Background information on the transmission:

On 6 July 2006, German ESA astronaut Thomas Reiter joined the permanent ISS Expedition 13 Crew.

ESA-TV provides weekly ISS-Astrolab Highlights featuring the best images received during the past seven days.

This week’s highlights will cover inter alia the following:

– Public event in Oldenburg (Germany) on 14 October where Lower Saxony Prime Minister Christian Wulff and former ESA astronaut Ulf Merbold talked with Reiter. This is edited from ENG recordings made in Oldenburg and images showing Reiter in the ISS

– Interviews (partly in Spanish) given on 17 October by the whole ISS Crew to TV networks Telemundo and Univision Networks (Spanish and English)

– General views of Lopez-Alegria and Reiter working in the ISS

Please note that the run time of this transmission is 15 minutes.
