Wednesday a Busy Day for Expedition Five
The three-member Expedition Five crew had a busy schedule for Wednesday. After waking up at 10 a.m. CST (1600 GMT), NASA ISS Science Officer Peggy Whitson prepared the Microgravity Science Glovebox for a session with PFMI – the Pore Formation and Mobility Investigation.
Later in the day, Whitson and Expedition Five Commander Valery Korzun were scheduled to check out spacesuits that will be used by STS-113 spacewalkers. In other activities, Flight Engineer Sergei Treschev was scheduled to perform maintenance on station systems.
