COMMAND TRANSMISSION & VERIFICATION OPERATIONS

Voyager 1 command operations consisted of the uplink of a Slew Test and
Pitch DB Mini Sequence on 09/09 [DOY 252/0400z] plus a command loss timer
reset on 09/11 [DOY254/0200z].Ê The spacecraft received all commands sent.

Voyager 2 command operations consisted of the uplink of seven bracketed
command loss timer resets sent on five-minute centers using 1.0 Hz steps on
09/11 [DOY 254/1607z].ÊÊ The commands were not sent due to the closure of
the laboratory.

SEQUENCE GENERATION OPERATIONS

Continue sequence development of CCSL A041.

DATA RETURN OPERATIONS

Voyager 1 Data Processing and Operations:

There were 53.9 hours of DSN scheduled support for Voyager 1 of which 8.9
hours were large aperture coverage. There were no real-time or schedule
support changes during the period.

There was one significant outage of 0.7 hours duration due to antenna
pointing problems [DR C100340] at DSS-34 on 09/11 [DOY 254].

Science instrument performance was nominal for all activities during this
period.Ê One frame of GS-4 data was recorded this week.Ê The EDR backlog is
9 days.

Voyager 2 Data Processing and Operations:

There were 51.4 hours of DSN scheduled support for Voyager 2 of which 25.7
hours were large aperture coverage. There were no real-time or schedule
support changes made or significant outages during the period

Science instrument performance was nominal for all activities during this
period.Ê One frame of GS-4 data was recorded this week.Ê The EDR backlog is
9 days.

FLIGHT SYSTEM PERFORMANCE

Voyager 1 performance was nominal during this report period.Ê Activities
included turning on Gyros A&B and a PMPCAL on 9/11 (DOY 254/255).

Voyager 2 performance was nominal during this report period.Ê Activities
included an ASCAL on 9/11 (DOY 254) and a MAGROL on 9/14 (DOY 257).
