USGS Hosts Congressional Briefing – Landsat 8 Begins

What: Following its successful launch in February, Landsat 8 will officially begin its mission on May 30th.

This advanced satellite will systematically acquire images of Earth, extending Landsat’s four-decade record of our planet.

Join us to learn how USGS and NASA look to future of the Landsat program.
