ULA Atlas V NROL-42 Launch Set for September 21

Everything is progressing toward the ULA Atlas V NROL-42 launch in support of national security. The mission, for the National Reconnaissance Office, is set to lift off on a ULA Atlas V rocket on Thursday, Sept. 21 from Space Launch Complex-3 at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. Today’s L-2 weather update shows 60% favorable conditions for launch. The launch time is 10:38 p.m. PDT.
 
Credential Information for Remote Camera Set Up and Launch
Media planning to put remote cameras on SLC-3 or to cover launch should RSVP by sending a driver’s license number and date of birth to Lt. William Collette at william.collette.1@us.af.mil no later than Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 8:00 p.m. PDT.
