ULA Atlas V InSight Launch Set for May 5

Everything is progressing toward the ULA Atlas V InSight mission for NASA. The mission is set to lift off on an Atlas V rocket on Saturday, May 5 from Space Launch Complex-3 at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The two-hour launch window begins at 4:05 a.m. PT.

Remote Camera Set Up and Launch
Credentialed media planning to put remote cameras on SLC-3 should meet at the Vandenberg south gate parking lot no later than 3:30 p.m. PT on Friday, May 4.
 
Credentialed media covering launch should meet at the at the Dick DeWees Community Center parking lot no later than 2 a.m. PT on Saturday, May 5.
 
Launch Broadcast
Live launch coverage will begin at 3:30 a.m. PT on May 5.
