Today’s transmission of the ESA TV Service includes:

Docking of Shuttle with the Space Station

Live rebroadcast of NASA-TV

Background information on the transmission:

The docking of Shuttle mission STS-98 with the Intrbational Space Station is scheduled for today, 16:56 GMT but will not be televised live. The hatch opening and ISS crew welcome is scheduled for 18:41 GMT.

The video tape of the Shuttle/ISS docking images will be replayed starting 19:11 GMT, and the ESA TV Service rebroadcasts these images live. In addition to this during the hour long transmission there will be live images of the STS-98 crew inside the ISS meeting and greeting the Expedition One crew. The ESA TV Service transmits these images live in time for prime time broadcasting.
