Description

NASA/JSC has a requirement for a TTA (Time Triggered Architecture) GROUP COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP.

NASA/JSC intends to purchase the items from TTTECH NORTH AMERICA, INC.

The TTA-Group is the only organization developing the standard for Time Triggered Ethernet (TTEthernet) technology. The standard developed by the TTA-Group will be adopted as an open standard by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). TTEthernet is planned for implementation on the Orion Multi Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV). Participation in the standardization of this technology will provide NASA the opportunity to make sure MPCV implementation of the TTEthernet and the future TTEthernet standard are aligned.

The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to Chris Gaspard at cgaspard@nasa.gov not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on April 25, 2013. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.

All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
