TIME CHANGES – ESA TV Service Launch Coverage

On 12 July, two launches are scheduled: The launch of Space Shuttle STS-104 to the International Space Station, at 09:04 GMT with a launch window of a few minutes, and the launch of ESA’s Artemis satellite on Ariane 5, at 21:58 GMT, with a 60-minute launch window.

The ESA TV Service will provide the following coverage:

11 July, 11:00-11:20 GMT ESA TV Footage – Artemis pre-launch footage, on Eutelsat W1

12 July, 08:45-09:15 GMT ESA TV Live – Lift-off of Shuttle mission, on NSS-K

12 July, 14:00-14:15 GMT ESA TV News – Shuttle flight day 1 and launch highlights, on Eutelsat W1

12 July, 14:15-14:30 GMT ESA TV News – Last Artemis launch preparations and Ariane 5 roll-out, on Eutelsat W1

13 July, 04:30-04:45 GMT ESA TV News – Artemis launch highlights, on Eutelsat W1

13 July, 06:00-06:15 GMT ESA TV News – Replay Artemis launch highlights, on Eutelsat W1

The satellite details are:

Eutelsat W1, 10 degrees East, Transponder B5, dig ch 2 (digital, horizontal), F=11.14375 MHz, SR=5.632 MS/sec, FEC=3/4

NSS-K at 21.5 degrees West, Transponder H07, MCPC dig ch 3 F=11.591 MHz, SR=20.150 MS/sec, FEC=3/4
