The third stage takes its place atop Flight 141’s Ariane 4
Flight 141’s Ariane 4 is one step closer to completion following the
integration of its third stage at the Spaceport’s ELA-2 launch complex.
At ELA-2’s launch complex the third stage made its first “liftoff” by
traveling the distance from ground level to the top of its Ariane 4 launch
vehicle.
Flight 141 remains on track for a June 7 liftoff, carrying the Intelsat 901
telecommunications satellite.
