NASA Ames Research Center and the NASA Astrobiology Institute are
pleased to announce the second Biennial Astrobiology Science
Conference, to be held at NASA’s Ames Research Center April 7-11,
2002. Fields covered will range from the origin of the solar system,
to evolutionary biology, microbiology, ecosystem science, global
change and space missions. For an indication of the breadth of the
meeting, the program and abstracts of last year’s conference may be
viewed at
http://www.astrobiology.com/asc2000/program.html
.

Detailed information regarding registration, abstraction
submission, and guidelines for selection of oral and poster
presentations will be made on the NASA Astrobiology web site by the
middle of October.  There will be a follow-up email at that
time.

We are anticipating a large turnout for this meeting, and for this
reason would like to get an estimate of the number of people
interested.  If you are interested in attending this meeting,
please send an email with a "yes" in the subject space
to: Abscicon2@mail.arc.nasa.gov

We apologize to those who may receive this message more than once
as some of our lists overlap.
