The launcher for Ariane Flight 148 takes shape

Integration of the launcher for Flight 148 is now underway in the Ariane 4
vertical assembly building at Europe’s Spaceport.

Flight 148’s mission startup followed last Thursday’s rollout of the nearly
complete launcher for Flight 147, opening the final assembly building for
the subsequent Ariane 4 mission.

Flight 147 remains on schedule for a January 23 liftoff (carrying Insat 3C),
with Flight 148 set for a February 14 launch to loft the Intelsat 904
spacecraft.
