Terra spacecraft operations during the past week have been nominal. All five instruments are operating in their nominal configurations.

On January 21, at 9 a.m. the SAC-C spacecraft came within 4 km of the Terra spacecraft. This close encounter is a result of the orbit raising maneuvers that the SAC-C satellite is conducting in order to fly information with Landsat 7, EO-1, and Terra. A number of teleconferences have been conducted with the SAC-C controllers to anticipate and avoid any more close encounters. All the vectors from the SAC-C burns are being propagated locally in the Terra control center to identify any potential problems.

The Terra Flight Operations Team plans to continue providing EOS Real-time Processing System (ERPS) testing with the ground stations. The team is also preparing for the next satellite drag make-up maneuver.
