Terra successfully conducted a drag make-up maneuver on December 1. These types of maneuvers are conducted once per month during the life of the mission to keep the satellite in the desired orbit.

The five sensors aboard Terra are all operating in science mode. During the past week, Terra transmitted to the ground 1.3 terabits of data per day.

The Terra Flight Operations Team continued with its EOS Real-time Processing System (ERPS) testing. The Team successfully uploaded a daily load of commands to the Terra spacecraft from the backup Mission Operations Center to demonstrate the capability.

There will be a MODIS roll maneuver on December 15. Also, the Flight Ops Team will conduct a simulation of the deep space calibration maneuver during the week of December 10.
