Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies (SGT, Inc.) Awarded Five-Year Contract to Support NASA Langley Research Center
SGT, Inc., a leading provider of Engineering, Science, Project Management, and Information Technology services, today announced that National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Langley Research Center (LaRC) has awarded SGT the LaRC Information Technology Enhanced Services (LITES) Contract.
Established in 1917 as the first national civil aeronautics laboratory, NASA LaRC has become a comprehensive, world-class research center for aeronautics, Earth Science, space technology, and structures and materials. To accomplish its research mission, the Center depends heavily on state-of-the-art IT. Under this contract, the SGT Team will provide a wide range of computing support functions for systems that deliver an IT capability for research and development (R&D) use and business applications. These include unique and high-end systems used by Mission and Mission-support staff at LaRC, such as high performance computing, geometry modeling, grid generation, data visualization, image processing, computational analysis, and airspace and traffic operations simulation.

SGT will be supported by seven subcontractors: Booz Allen Hamilton; CSC; Craig Technologies, Inc.; DB Consulting Group, Inc.; eTouch Federal Systems Corporation; Science Systems and Applications, Inc.; and ViGYAN, Inc.
The Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, cost plus incentive fee contract has a value of $183M over five years.
