SpaceX Has Delayed Today’s Launch Due to Winds
SpaceX has delayed the launch of Spaceflight’s Smallsat Express from Vandenberg Air Force Base until early December 2018, due to high-altitude winds. The launch vehicle and satellite payloads are healthy, and a new launch date will be announced by SpaceX once confirmed.
Helios Wire’s Pathfinder II smallsat is part of the Spaceflight Satellite Express mission — a historic launch of 64 satellites. SpaceX previously delayed the originally scheduled launch date, Nov. 19, to allow for additional pre-flight inspections.
