SpaceTech-REDDI-2018 Appendix F1: Tech Flights – NASA Flight Opportunities Proposals Due on June 8
NASA’s Flight Opportunities program, part of the Space Technology Mission Directorate, is seeking research proposals for promising space technologies that benefit future NASA space exploration missions. Selected technologies from industry and academia will be flight-tested on commercial suborbital launch vehicles, reduced gravity aircraft and high-altitude balloon flights. These flight demonstrations allow researchers to obtain critical experimental data not otherwise attainable in ground-based experiments.
This email is a reminder that the proposals to this solicitation are due on or before June 8, 2018, and selections will be announced in November 2018 (target). Proposals must be submitted electronically using NASA’s proposal data system, NSPIRES. Potential proposers are urged to access the electronic proposal system well in advance of the proposal due date to familiarize themselves with its structure and enter the requested information.
NASA hopes to expand the breadth and number of proposals to this solicitation. If you have technical, programmatic, and procurement comments or questions, please email HQ-STMD-FO@nasaprs.com.
