**** SPACE WEATHER OUTLOOK ****
Summary For June 11-17
Space weather reached moderate levels. Category R2 (moderate) radio
blackouts occurred at 0542 a.m. MDT on June 13 (2001 June 13 1142 UTC)
and 0413 a.m. MDT on June 15 (2001 June 15 1013 UTC) due to major solar
flares. A category S1 (minor) solar radiation storm occurred during
June 15 – 16. For a complete list of adverse system effects associated

Scales.
Outlook For June 20-26
Space weather is expected to be minor with a chance for isolated
category R1 (minor) radio blackouts.
