**** SPACE WEATHER OUTLOOK ****

Summary For May 21-27

Space weather reached minor levels during the period. A category R1
(minor) radio blackout occurred on 24 May. Category R1 radio blackouts
normally degrade high frequency radio communication and low frequency
navigation signals on the sunlit side of Earth (for a complete list of
adverse system effects, please refer to the NOAA Space Weather
Scales).

Outlook For May 30-June 5

Space weather is expected to be at normal to minor levels. There will be
a minor chance for isolated category R1 radio blackouts during the
period.

USAF, NASA, NSF, USGS, the International Space Environment Services
and other observatories, universities, and institutions. More
