SPACE WEATHER ADVISORY OUTLOOK #03- 7
2003 February 18 at 01:45 p.m. MST (2003 February 18 2045 UTC)

**** SPACE WEATHER OUTLOOK ****

Summary For February 10-16

Space weather reached minor levels during the week. One category R1
(minor) radio blackout occurred on February 14th at 2:18 A.M. MST (0918
UTC) due to an energetic solar flare on the sun. For a list of adverse
system effects related to space weather storms, please refer to the
NOAA Space Weather Scales.

Outlook For February 19-25

Space weather may reach minor levels with a chance of a G1 (minor)
geomagnetic storm on February 18th through February 20th due to a
recurrent coronal hole. High speed solar wind from a coronal hole
interacts with the Earths magnetic field an often results in
geomagnetic storms.
