MISSION: STS-97 – 6th ISS Flight (4A) – PV Module P6

VEHICLE: Endeavour/OV-105

LOCATION: Launch Pad 39B

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Nov. 30, 2000 at 10:05 p.m. EST

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Dec.10, 2000 at 6:46 p.m.

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 9 days, 20 hours and 41 minutes

CREW: Jett, Bloomfield, Tanner, Noriega, Garneau

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Yesterday, engineers completed calibration tests on
Endeavour’s inertial measurement units. Loading of hypergolic oxidizer into
the orbiter’s onboard storage tanks is under way today and fuel loading
begins tomorrow. Orbiter aft compartment cleaning began today and continues
through the weekend.

The Imax 3-D camera is expected to arrive at Launch Pad 39B Saturday for
installation into Endeavour’s payload bay on Sunday. The P6 payload arrives
at the pad next week. Payload interface verification testing follows on
Monday.

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Jan. 28, 2001 at 11:15 p.m.

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Cockrell, Polansky, Curbeam, Jones, Ivins

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Main engine leak checks continue to go well and
engine heat shields will be installed over the weekend. The payload premate
test is ongoing and a functional check of the orbiter waste control system
continues. Standard water spray boiler checks are in progress. Window work
continues and wireless video modifications proceed on schedule.


MISSION: STS-102 – 8th ISS Flight (5A.1) – Leonardo MPLM

VEHICLE: Discovery/OV-103

LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF) bay 1

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Feb.15, 2001 at 4:24 p.m. EST (under review)

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Feb. 26, 2001 at 11:44 a.m.

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Weatherbee, Kelly, Thomas, Richards (up) Voss, Helms, Usachev (down)
Shepherd, Gidzenko, Krikalev

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Workers have removed the payload support equipment
from Discovery’s payload bay and the waste control system has also been
removed from the ship. Shuttle main engine heat shields are being removed
today. Main engine removal begins Monday.
