TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Jan. 19, 2001 at about 2:11 a.m. EST

MISSION DURATION: 10 days, 19 hours and 40 minutes

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees
Shuttle Processing Note: Workers have completed standard launch pad
validations and processing of Space Shuttle Atlantis continues toward a
target launch date of Jan. 19.
The flight crew completed Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities
on Saturday and returned to Houston, Texas on Sunday. Over the weekend,
workers also completed installation of the U.S. Laboratory into Atlantis’
payload bay. The payload bay doors are slated for closure on Thursday.
Routine helium signature leak testing concluded on Sunday.
At Launch Pad 39A today, the orbiter’s onboard storage tanks are being
loaded with oxidizer and tomorrow fuel loading efforts begin. Shuttle main
engine testing and solid rocket booster hydraulic tests are scheduled this
week.

Shuttle Processing Note: Workers have completed mass memory unit loading
efforts. Today, orbital maneuvering system pod checks are in work. This
week technicians will remove the forward reaction control system to
accommodate planned thruster replacement work.
