MISSION: STS-97 – 6th ISS Flight (4A) – PV Module P6

VEHICLE: Endeavour/OV-105

LOCATION: Launch Pad 39B

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Nov. 30, 2000 at 10:05 p.m.

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Dec.10, 2000 at 6:46 p.m.

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 9 days, 20 hours and 41 minutes

CREW: Jett, Bloomfield, Tanner, Noriega, Garneau

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Today, Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT)
activities are under way with the flight crew working at and around the pad.
Tomorrow, the five-member crew will take part in a countdown dress rehearsal
in preparation for launch later this month.

Also, Endeavour’s helium signature leak test is complete. Workers at the
launch pad are now preparing to load the orbiter’s onboard hypergolic
storage tanks on Thursday, after TCDT activities. Technicians are also
preparing to replace two quick disconnects and a transducer on the fuel side
of the forward reaction control system later this week.

The Imax 3-D camera is expected to arrive at Launch Pad 39B Saturday for
installation into Endeavour’s payload bay on Sunday. The P6 payload arrives
at the pad next week. A payload interface verification test will follow the
installation of the payload into the orbiter.

LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF) bay 3

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Jan.18, 2001 at 3:36 a.m. EDT

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Jan. 28, 2001 at 11:46 p.m.

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 10 days

CREW: Cockrell, Polansky, Curbeam, Jones, Ivins

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Atlantis’ waste control system has been installed
in the crew module. Shuttle main engine installation continues on schedule.
Orbiter window No. 8 is being replaced and technicians continue with the
orbiter’s wireless video modification.

MISSION: STS-102 – 8th ISS Flight (5A.1) – Leonardo MPLM

VEHICLE: Discovery/OV-103

LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF) bay 1

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Feb.15, 2001 at 4:24 p.m. EDT (under review)

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Feb. 26, 2001 at 11:44 a.m.

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Weatherbee, Kelly, Thomas, Richards (up) Voss, Helms, Usachev (down)
Shepherd, Gidzenko, Krikalev

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Discovery’s residual reactants were drained prior
to payload bay door opening this week and the Imax 3-D camera has been
removed from the cargo bay. Workers are removing the orbiter’s tail cone
and validating the orbiter power system. Main engine heat shield removal is
slated to occur this week.
