MISSION: STS-97 – 6th ISS Flight (4A) – PV Module P6

VEHICLE: Endeavour/OV-105

LOCATION: On Orbit

OFFICIAL KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Nov. 30, 2000 at 10:06 p.m. EST

KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Dec.11, 2000 at 6:19 p.m.

MISSION DURATION: 10 days, 20 hours and 13 minutes

CREW: Jett, Bloomfield, Tanner, Noriega, Garneau

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: All systems aboard Space Shuttle Endeavour are
performing very well on orbit. The two solid rocket boosters were towed
back to KSC Saturday afternoon. Routine post-launch inspections are in work
at Hangar AF and preliminary reports indicate both boosters are in good
condition. Segment disassembly begins later this week.

MISSION: STS-98 – 7th ISS Flight (5A) – U.S. Laboratory

VEHICLE: Atlantis/OV-104

LOCATION: Vehicle Assembly Building transfer aisle

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Jan.18, 2001 at 2:44 a.m. EST

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Jan. 28, 2001 at 11:15 p.m.

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Cockrell, Polansky, Curbeam, Jones, Ivins

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Shortly after 11 a.m. today, orbiter Atlantis
rolled over to the Vehicle Assembly Building. Later today, Atlantis will be
lifted into VAB high bay 3 and then mated to the external tank and solid
rocket boosters. Following a successful orbiter/external tank mate,
engineers will conduct the standard Shuttle Interface Test.

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Wetherbee, Kelly, Thomas, Richards; (up) Voss, Helms, Usachev; (down)

Shepherd, Gidzenko, Krikalev

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Orbiter docking system seal leak checks are
complete. Discovery’s forward power control assembly No. 1 was replaced
over the weekend. Workers also concluded leak and functional tests of the
liquid oxygen side of the main propulsion system. Auxiliary power unit leak
and functional testing continues. Workers plan to replace one of the
orbital maneuvering system thrusters next week following routine OMS pod
checks.
