LOCATION: Launch Pad 39A

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Feb. 7, 2001 at 6:11 p.m. EST

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Feb. 18, 2001 at about 12:58 p.m. EST

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 10 days, 18 hours and 47 minutes

CREW: Cockrell, Polansky, Curbeam, Jones, Ivins

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: At Launch Pad 39A yesterday, workers completed
routine launch pad validations. Also, technicians installed the U.S. Lab
“Destiny” into Space Shuttle Atlantis’ payload bay and plan to close the
payload bay doors for flight this evening.

Orbiter aft compartment closeouts are in work through tomorrow morning and
resume Thursday with aft door installation on Friday. Today, technicians are
preparing for Shuttle ordnance installation, which is scheduled through
Thursday.

The STS-98 flight crew is scheduled to arrive at KSC Sunday at about 1:30
p.m. for final launch preparation. The launch countdown begins Sunday at 10
p.m.

LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF) bay 1

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Mar. 8, 2001 at about 7 a.m. EST

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Mar. 20, 2001 at about 1 a.m.

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Wetherbee, Kelly, Thomas, Richards; (up) Voss, Helms, Usachev; (down)

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Discovery’s payload bay doors were closed
yesterday afternoon in preparation for this week’s planned rollover
activities. Closeouts of the orbiter’s forward compartment continue while
technicians complete standard potable drinking water samples today.
Tomorrow afternoon, workers will lower Discovery onto the scales used for
weight and center of gravity tests. The orbiter transporter operations
begin tomorrow morning, and mangers plan to transfer the orbiter to the VAB
Thursday evening.

LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility bay 2

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Apr. 19, 2001 at 2:04 p.m. EDT

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Apr. 30, 2001 at 9:56 a.m.

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Rominger, Ashby, Hadfield, Parazynski, Phillips, Guidoni, Lonchakov

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Technicians have completed functional checks on
Endeavour’s airlock upper hatch and forward hatch. Installation of the two
gaseous nitrogen tanks that support the power reactant storage and
distribution system continues. Technicians are installing the drag chute
today and plan to service freon coolant loop No. 1 tomorrow.
