LOCATION: Launch Pad 39 A

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Feb. 7, 2001 at 6:11 p.m. EST

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Feb. 18, 2001 at about 12:58 p.m. EST

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 10 days, 18 hours and 47 minutes

CREW: Cockrell, Polansky, Curbeam, Jones, Ivins

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Processing of Space Shuttle Atlantis continues
toward a Feb. 7 launch date. Launch managers plan to begin the STS-98
launch countdown on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 10 p.m. EST.

Workers at Launch Pad 39A will conclude routine checks of all Shuttle and
pad interfaces this afternoon and crews will walk-down the pad structure
this week as part of routine debris inspections. Orbiter aft compartment
closeouts began last Saturday and will proceed through Friday. The U.S. Lab
“Destiny” has been reinstalled into Atlantis’ payload bay and the payload
bay doors will be closed for flight Tuesday evening.

VEHICLE: Discovery/OV-103

LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF) bay 1

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Mar. 8, 2001 at about 7 a.m. EST

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Mar. 20, 2001 at about 1 a.m.

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Wetherbee, Kelly, Thomas, Richards; (up) Voss, Helms, Usachev; (down)
Shepherd, Gidzenko, Krikalev

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Technicians have completed leak tests in
Discovery’s aft engine compartment. Closeout efforts continue in the
orbiter’s payload bay and crew module. This week workers will close
Discovery’s payload bay doors and conduct orbiter weight and center of
gravity tests. Managers plan to transfer orbiter Discovery to the VAB on
Thursday.

MISSION: STS-100 – 9th ISS Flight (6A) -Raffaello MPLM, SSRMS

VEHICLE: Endeavour/OV-105

LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility bay 2

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Apr. 19, 2001 at 2:04 p.m. EDT

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Apr. 30, 2001 at 9:56 a.m.

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Rominger, Ashby, Hadfield, Parazynski, Phillips, Guidoni, Lonchakov

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Technicians have completed replacement of
Endeavour’s window No. 1. Installation of the two gaseous nitrogen tanks
that support the power reactant storage and distribution system continues.
This week, workers will install the orbiter’s drag chute and service freon
coolant loop No. 1.
