MISSION: STS-97 – 6th ISS Flight (4A) – PV Module P6

VEHICLE: Endeavour/OV-105

LOCATION: Launch Pad 39B

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Nov. 30, 2000 at 10:06 p.m. EST

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Dec.11, 2000 at 5:58 p.m.

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 10 days, 19 hours and 52 minutes

CREW: Jett, Bloomfield, Tanner, Noriega, Garneau

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: The P6 payload has been transferred into the
payload changeout room and will be installed into the payload bay tomorrow.
Technicians are preparing the spacesuits for installation into the orbiter
later this week. Endeavour’s aft compartment close-outs are under way and
will continue through next Tuesday.

Shuttle Processing Note: Workers have completed the wireless video system
modification aboard Atlantis. Yesterday, the right-hand orbital maneuvering
system (OMS) pod was installed on the ship’s aft compartment. Technicians
are performing routine checks on the OMS pod today. Water spray boiler
checks are in progress, and routine testing of the master events controller
continues.

MISSION: STS-102 – 8th ISS Flight (5A.1) – Leonardo MPLM

VEHICLE: Discovery/OV-103

LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF) bay 1

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Feb.15, 2001 at 4:24 p.m. EST (under review)

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Feb. 26, 2001 at 11:44 a.m.

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Wetherbee, Kelly, Thomas, Richards; (up) Voss, Helms, Usachev; (down)
Shepherd, Gidzenko, Krikalev

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Workers have completed standard checks of the
forward reaction control system. Functional testing of the orbiter docking
mechanism are in work today. Later this week, technicians plan to start
Discovery’s OMS pod checks and begin replacement of orbiter windows No. 2,
No. 6 and No. 7.
