MISSION: STS-97 – 6th ISS Flight (4A) – PV Module P6

VEHICLE: Endeavour/OV-105

LOCATION: Launch Pad 39B

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Nov. 30, 2000 at 10:06 p.m. EST

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Dec.10, 2000 at 5:25 p.m.

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 9 days, 19 hours and 19 minutes

CREW: Jett, Bloomfield, Tanner, Noriega, Garneau

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Over the weekend, workers completed Endeavour’s
onboard hypergolic fuel loading effort and Imax 3-D camera installation.
The Imax camera/orbiter interface verification test was conducted yesterday
in the payload bay. The P6 payload arrived at Launch Pad 39B today and is
being installed into the payload changeout room. Endeavour’s payload bay
doors will be opened tomorrow morning and the P6 will be installed Thursday.

Orbiter aft compartment close-outs begin Wednesday and conclude next Tuesday
with the installation of the aft doors. On Friday, Nov. 17, Shuttle managers
will assemble at KSC to participate in the Flight Readiness Review.

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Jan. 28, 2001 at 11:15 p.m.

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Cockrell, Polansky, Curbeam, Jones, Ivins

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Main engine heat shield installation is complete.
The right hand orbiter maneuvering system pod was returned to the OPF and is
being installed on Atlantis today. Standard water spray boiler checks
continue and are in progress. Wireless video system modifications continue
and routine testing of the master events controller is under way.

MISSION: STS-102 – 8th ISS Flight (5A.1) – Leonardo MPLM

VEHICLE: Discovery/OV-103

LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF) bay 1

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Feb.15, 2001 at 4:24 p.m. EST (under review)

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Feb. 26, 2001 at 11:44 a.m.

LAUNCH WINDOW: less than 5 minutes

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Wetherbee, Kelly, Thomas, Richards (up) Voss, Helms, Usachev (down)
Shepherd, Gidzenko, Krikalev

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 177 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Discovery’s three main engines have been removed
from the orbiter’s aft compartment. Today, workers are performing standard
checks of the forward reaction control system. Technicians are scheduled to
complete functional tests of the orbiter docking mechanism this week.
