MISSION: STS-104 – 10th ISS Flight (7A) – Airlock

VEHICLE: Atlantis/OV-104

LOCATION: Vehicle Assemble Building

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: NET early July 2001

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: TBD

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Lindsey, Hobaugh, Kavandi, Gernhardt, Reilly

ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 122 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: NASA managers announced today that Space Shuttle
Atlantis will not launch before early July. The additional time will enable
the International Space Station Program time to evaluate a problem with the
Station’s new robot arm. Shuttle and Station managers will reconvene in
mid-June to assess a new launch date. The Flight Readiness Review has been
postponed with a new date to be announced.

Orbiter Atlantis rolled over to the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) last
night, and today workers are preparing to mate the orbiter to the external
tank in VAB high bay 1. Once fully stacked, the Space Shuttle will remain
in the VAB until a new rollout date is selected.

Payload Processing Note: The U.S. Airlock remains in the pad’s payload
changeout room with no additional work scheduled.

MISSION: STS-105 – 11th ISS Flight (7A.1) – Leonardo MPLM

VEHICLE: Discovery/OV-103

LOCATION: OPF bay 2

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: NET early August 2001

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: TBD

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Horowitz, Sturckow, Barry, Forrester; (ISS up) Culbertson, Dezhurov,
Turin; (ISS down) Usachev, Voss, Helms,

ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 122 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: NASA managers also announced that Space Shuttle
Discovery’s launch will occur no earlier than early August. The delay
accommodates the ongoing robot arm evaluation and allows the flight crew
additional time to train for potential arm repair efforts during the
upcoming mission. Orbiter aft engine compartment closeouts are in work
today.

Payload Processing Note: Experiment and supply rack installations continue
on the Leonardo Multi-Purpose Logistics Module (MPLM) in the Space Station
Processing Facility.

MISSION: STS-108 – 12th ISS Flight (UF1) -Raffaello MPLM

VEHICLE: Endeavour/OV-105

LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility bay 1

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Nov. 29, 2001

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Dec. 9, 2001

MISSION DURATION: 10 days

CREW: Gorie, Kelly, Godwin, Tani; (ISS up) Onufrienko, Bursch, Walz; (ISS
down) Culbertson, Dezhurov, Turin

ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 122 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Routine inspections of the orbiter’s reaction
control system thrusters continue. Orbiter maneuvering system pod checks
are in work also.

MISSION: STS-109 – HST Servicing Mission 3B

VEHICLE: Columbia/OV-102

LOCATION: OPF bay 3

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Jan. 17, 2002

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Jan. 28, 2002

MISSION DURATION: TBD

CREW: Altman, Carey, Grunsfeld, Currie, Newman, Linnehan, Massimino

ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 308 nautical miles/28.5 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Orbiter Columbia was transferred into Orbiter
Processing Facility bay 3 last night following Atlantis’ move to the VAB.
Processing for the STS-109 mission is now under way.
