Shuttle Processing Note: Following a successful undocking from the
International Space Station yesterday, Space Shuttle Endeavour remains in
excellent health. The Endeavour crew begins preparation for deorbit early
Tuesday morning with a total of four landing opportunities at KSC and
Edwards Air Force Base (EAFB), Calif. EAFB is available to support landing
tomorrow if needed.

The KSC forecast calls for clouds to be scattered at 3,000 and 10,000 feet,

clouds at 3,000 feet. The 24-hour and 48-hour delay forecasts are similar
with a greater chance of broken clouds.
The EAFB forecast calls for clear skies; winds from the northwest at 5 to 8
knots; visibility at 7 miles and no chance of showers. The 24-hour and
48-hour delay forecasts indicate a greater chance of windy conditions.

Shuttle Processing Note: The STS-104 flight crew completed Crew Equipment
Interface Test activities over the weekend. Atlantis’ window No. 8 has been
replaced. Functional tests of the orbiter’s waste system continue. Main
propulsion system leak checks are in work and engine heat shield
installation is ongoing. Russian engineers will work for about two days this
week to repair an alignment “fixer” on Atlantis’ docking mechanism.

Preparations are also being made to transfer Columbia to VAB high bay 4 to
make room for Endeavour’s return from STS-100.
