MISSION: STS-100 – 9th ISS Flight (6A) -Raffaello MPLM, SSRMS

VEHICLE: Endeavour/OV-105

LOCATION: Edwards Air Force Base, California

KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Apr. 19, 2001 at 2:41 p.m. EDT

EDWARDS LANDING DATE/TIME: May 1, 2001 at 12:11 p.m.

MISSION DURATION: 11 days, 21 hours and 30 minutes

CREW: Rominger, Ashby, Hadfield, Parazynski, Phillips, Guidoni, Lonchakov

ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 173 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: At Edwards Air Force Base (EAFB), Calif., standard
post-flight deservicing of Shuttle Endeavour continues to go well.
Technicians are establishing vehicle access and proceeding with efforts to
offload Endeavour’s onboard cryogenics. Preparation to mate Endeavour to
NASA’s modified Boeing 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft begins Sunday. Managers
are targeting a ferry flight departure from EAFB Tuesday, May 8.

Inspections performed on Space Shuttle Endeavour at Edwards runway 22 and in
the Mate-Demate Device revealed a total of 92 debris hits to the orbiter’s
thermal protection system. Thirteen of the impact sites measured 1-inch or
larger.

Preliminary plans have the orbiter/SCA refueling at Dyess Air Force Base in
Abilene, Texas and then stopping for an overnight stay at Eglin Air Force
Base near Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. If all goes as planned, Endeavour could
return to KSC as early as May 9. The schedule and flight path of any ferry
flight are dependant upon weather conditions and daylight en route.

MISSION: STS-104 – 10th ISS Flight (7A) – Airlock

VEHICLE: Atlantis/OV-104

LOCATION: OPF bay 3

KSC LAUNCH DATE/TIME: NET June 14, 4:15 p.m. EDT

KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: June 25, 12:30 p.m.

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Lindsey, Hobaugh, Kavandi, Gernhardt, Reilly

ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 122 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Atlantis’ main propulsion system leak checks are
complete and engine heat shields are being installed. Technicians are now
conducting functional tests of the waste control system and servicing the
orbiter’s ammonia system. Workers are also adjusting the heads-up display
unit in the crew module. Russian engineers begin work to replace an
alignment “fixer” on Atlantis’ docking mechanism Monday.

MISSION: STS-105 – 11th ISS Flight (7A.1) – Leonardo MPLM

VEHICLE: Discovery/OV-103

(down) Voss, Helms, Usachev

ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 122 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Technicians have completed fuel valve draining on
Discovery’s orbital maneuvering system (OMS). Thruster checks on the
left-hand OMS pod are in work along with drag chute installation. Next
week, workers will complete installation of orbiter window No. 7.

MISSION: STS-109 – HST Servicing Mission 3B

VEHICLE: Columbia/OV-102

ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 308 nautical miles/28.5 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Servicing of the orbiter’s freon coolant loop No.
1 is now under way. Technicians are preparing for Columbia’s power-up
validation efforts. The orbiter is jacked and leveled in the OPF.
