TARGET KSC LANDING DATE: March 4, 2002

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 308 nautical miles/28.5 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Pre-launch operations have resumed in the Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF) after the Christmas holidays, preparing Columbia for the Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission scheduled for no earlier than Feb. 21. Verification testing of replaced Auxiliary Power Unit No. 3 is complete and fuel connections will be worked this weekend. Forward and aft closeouts are in progress.

MISSION: STS-110 – 13th ISS Flight (8A) – ITS SO TRUSS AND MOBILE TRANSPORTER

VEHICLE: Atlantis/OV-104

TARGET KSC LAUNCH DATE: NET April 4, 2002

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE: April 15, 2002

MISSION DURATION: 11 days

CREW: Bloomfield, Frick, Ross, Smith, Ochoa, Morin, Walheim

ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 122 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Work is underway in the OPF to remove both Orbiter Maneuvering System (OMS) pods on Shuttle Atlantis to inspect the integrity of the fittings on attach point No. 5, and make repairs if necessary. The OMS cross-feed line will be drained this weekend and the left pod will be removed next week. The payload doors have been opened and AC power continuity checks are in progress.

MISSION: STS-111 – 14th ISS flight (UF2) – MLPM

VEHICLE: Endeavour/OV-105

TARGET LAUNCH DATE: May 2, 2002

TARGET KSC LANDING DATE: May 13, 2002

CREW: Cockrell, Lockhart, Chang-Diaz, Perrin; (ISS up) Korzun, Whitson, Treschev; (ISS down) Onufrienko, Bursch, Walz

ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 122 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: De-serving of residual propellants from Orbiter Endeavour is complete. Preparations are being made to check out the Forward Reaction Control System (FRCS) and the OMS pods. The Raffaello Multi-Purpose Logistic Module will be removed from the payload bay early next week.

STRUCTURAL INSPECTION & MODIFICATION PERIOD

VEHICLE: Discovery/OV-103

Shuttle Processing Note: Orbiter Discovery is in temporary storage in a high bay of the Vehicle Assembly Building awaiting a decision by Shuttle managers on the content, schedule and location for the structural inspection and modification down period. Discovery is scheduled to return to the OPF in mid-January.
