Shuttle Processing Note: Workers have completed closeout work in orbiter
Endeavour’s aft engine compartment and aft structural leak checks are in
work today. Technicians continue with closeout work inside Endeavour’s
crew module. The orbiter will be lowered on jacks later today in
preparation for routine weight and center of gravity tests. Endeavour will
be mated to the external tank and solid rocket boosters later this week. In
the Space Station Processing Facility, the Multi-purpose Logistics Module
(MPLM) hatch leak checks and external closeouts began today

Shuttle Processing Note: Over the weekend, technicians completed alignment
work on the pilot’s heads up display unit. Testing of the orbiter’s waste
containment system continue and auxiliary power unit strut inspections are
in work. Routine electrical validation of Columbia’s orbital maneuvering
system continue.
MISSION: STS-110 – 13th ISS Flight (8A) – ITS S0, MT

Shuttle Processing Note: Power down modifications are in progress on
orbiter Atlantis. Workers are upgrading the orbiter’s mass memory units and
performing a monoball wiring harness enhancement. Atlantis will resume
powered work in mid-December.

Shuttle Processing Note: Orbiter Discovery is expected to leave temporary
storage later this week. The orbiter is scheduled to begin a thorough
structural inspection and modification period. Shuttle managers continue to
assess the content, schedule and location of this planned work period.
