MISSION STS-107 -SPACEHAB/ FREESTAR MICROGRAVITY RESEARCH MISSION

Shuttle Processing Note: Following the removal of the Space Shuttle’s three
main engines, inspections will continue through the week of flow liners in
liquid oxygen and hydrogen lines on Columbia. So far, one crack, similar in
size to cracks found on Atlantis and Discovery, has been confirmed in one
flow liner in a liquid hydrogen line on Columbia. Several teams across the
country continue to investigate all aspects of the flow liner issue. No
further results from those teams analyzing the issue are anticipated before
next week at the earliest.

MISSION STS-112 — 15TH ISS FLIGHT (9A) – BA, ITS S1

ORBITAL ALTITUDE AND INCLINATION: 122 nautical miles, 51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Vehicle processing continues for Atlantis’ launch
to the International Space Station once the flow liner issue is resolved.
Right-hand Orbital Maneuvering System (OMS) Pod installation is complete.
OMS pod electrical connections and checkout is in work.

MISSION: STS-113 – 16th ISS Flight (11A) – ITS, P1

VEHICLE: Endeavour/OV-105

LAUNCH DATE: October 6 (Under Review)

CREW: Wetherbee, Loria, Lopez-Alegria, Herrington; (ISS up) Bowersox,
Budarin, Thomas; (ISS down) Korzun, Whitson, Treschev

ORBITAL INSERTION ALTITUDE AND INCLINATION: 122 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

Shuttle Processing Note: Shuttle Endeavour returned to Kennedy Space Center
from its cross-country ferry flight from Edwards Air Force Base (EAFB),
Calif., on Saturday, June 29. The orbiter was towed into a processing bay to
begin deservicing and processing for its next mission. Removal of the main
engines and subsequent MPS flow liner inspections will begin next week.

ORBITER MAJOR MODIFICATION PERIOD

Shuttle Processing Note: Discovery is in the Vehicle Assembly Building
awaiting the start of its Orbiter Major Modification (OMM) period that is
scheduled to begin at the Kennedy Space Center late this summer.
