STRUCTURAL INSPECTION & MODIFICATION PERIOD

VEHICLE: Discovery/OV-103

Shuttle Processing Note: With most of Discovery’s post-flight processing
complete, workers have closed the orbiter’s payload bay doors. Managers are
assessing local weather conditions to determine the best time for Discovery
and Atlantis to swap locations.

Orbiter Discovery is scheduled to begin a thorough structural inspection and
modification period after STS-105 post-flight work concludes. Shuttle
managers continue to assess the content, schedule and location of this
planned work period.
